Our Newest Addition...

Meet Oliver...Named for another famous orphan!

My 16 year old daughter came home from work just a few weeks ago telling the sad tale of Oliver's traumatic little life. A co-worker rescued him from near starvation and was nursing him to back to health but could not keep him. And so my animal-rescuing daughter quickly pleaded for Oliver to come home with her.

Almost seven years ago, our first year of homeschooling, we gave our school a mascot. We are known as home of the "wild cats." Any one want to venture a guess why?

Of course there are two more permanent pet fixtures who are a bit concerned they are being replaced.
